Cala Blanca is a seaside resort on the west coast of Menorca. Its impressive sunsets with views of Mallorca are a very prominent claim.
The urbanization is easily passable and lacks unevenness that hinder mobility. The town center has a selection of good quality restaurants and bars, well-stocked supermarkets and gift shops. You can eat and drink Spanish style or try gastronomic, Indian, Italian or even British food. There's even an Irish bar! In high season, some of the bars have live music and entertainment for their customers. Nearby is a pharmacy and a medical center.
Cala Blanca is a beautiful white sand beach that gives its name to the urbanization. Awarded the Blue Flag qualification, its crystal clear water is the closest thing to a beautiful pool. It stands to reason that there is an excellent diving school that offers diving for all ages and experiences. Snorkeling is a highly recommended activity. The beach itself has restaurants and bars on both sides. Charming places to sit and watch the world go by or to keep a close eye on your children playing on the fine sand.
Santandria is another beautiful beach. Very picturesque, it still preserves the flavor of yesteryear when the local inhabitants made their family getaways ("a vega") to enjoy its transparent waters. It has an interesting offer of bars and restaurants in its surroundings.
It is wheelchair accessible across the beach to the water's edge. The hotel at the back of the beach is an ideal place to watch the sunset with a cold drink after a hot day.
Ciutadella is a charming and historic cathedral city with an impressive port. Hours can be spent exploring its ancient cobbled streets, admiring its impressive architecture.
It has a variety of interesting shops and boutiques, restaurants and street cafes to discover. In the evenings, there is a hippy market that cascades down the streets leading to the port, selling handicrafts made on the island and elsewhere.
Cala'n Bosch is a very welcoming complex. You can take it easy and enjoy a carefree vacation. It's relaxing, lively and so much fun. A good choice for families and active friends.
It has 2 wonderful beaches, one of which offers a wide variety of water sports. There is a stunning marina full of small boats and it is surrounded by Spanish and international bars, cafes and restaurants. From here you can book boat trips along the beautiful Menorcan coast. Alternatively, you can hire your own motor boat and explore the pristine beaches for yourself. Cala'n Bosch is home to one of the few water parks and go-kart tracks on the island.
Summer holidays in Menorca really are as idyllic as they sound...
